What you provide us
When you use Drdchat, we collect the information you provide. This includes:
- Account setup: When creating an account, we ask for essential details such as your name, username, password, email address, phone number, and profile picture. You may also be asked for additional information, such as your date of birth.
- Chats and interactions: When communicating with friends, we collect the content you share through our services, including messages, voice recordings, and images.
- Third-party video services: If you sign in using a third-party video service, you may log in through that service. We do not collect, store, or retain your login credentials.
When you use Drdchat
- Usage Information: When you watch content on Drdchat, we collect information about what you view. This helps us maintain your watch history and provide a better experience.
- Device Information: We collect device level info as part of Drdchat experience. These data include your operating system version, screen size, advertising identifiers, language, microphone access for voice, and whether you watch with headphones connected.
- Network & Location: We collect data such as your IP address, location, and signal strength to provide a more personalized experience, including showing you nearby regional parties and friends.
From third parties
When you sign in to Drdchat using a third-party service (e.g., Facebook, Google, or Apple), we collect information from that service to authorize and process your access. We use industry-standard security measures, including encryption, to protect your data both in transit and at rest.
With other Drdchat users
We only share your public information, such as your name, username, country, profile picture, and online status. Private data, like your phone number, is never shared.
With third parties
- Personalized Ads: To enhance your experience, your Advertiser ID may be shared with trusted ad partners, like Google Ads, to deliver personalized ads—only for non-premium members.
- Communication: We may securely share your Device UUID, mobile number, or email with trusted partners to keep you connected through Drdchat messages, such as push notifications, OTPs, and magical email links.
- Company: We may share information with service providers for services like payments or performance optimization, and in the event of a merger or acquisition.
- Legal: We only share your information when legally required, such as in response to valid legal processes or government requests.
- Investigation: To maintain a safe and fair environment, we may share information to handle potential Terms of Service or Community Guidelines violations and to protect the safety and rights of our community.
Your Information
You can manage and update most of your information directly from your Drdchat profile.
Revoking Permissions
We ask for your permission before accessing features like the microphone, and location. You can change or revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings.
Deletion
We hope you’ll stay with Drdchat, but if you ever decide to leave, you can delete your account and all associated data from the Settings page using the “Delete Account” button. Your data will be deleted within 30 days.
Chat History
We do not retain party chat history, and any attached media (such as images) is automatically deleted after a set period.
User Information
We maintain your personal information for the duration of your account, including basic profile data such as name, username, profile picture, and watch history.
Upon account deletion, associated data will be erased within 30 days, subject to no further activity.
We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally, and we’ll keep you informed. Changes may be indicated by updating the date on the Policy page, or through other channels, like homepage announcements, emails or in-app notifications.
